Royal Kunia Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course located in Waipahu on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Designed by golf course architect Robin Nelson, the course measures 7,007 yards from the championship tees.
Perched above the Ewa Plain, Royal Kunia is celebrated for its sweeping panoramic views of Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Diamond Head, and the dramatic Ko'olau and Waianae mountain ranges.
The course features generously sized, rolling Bermuda grass fairways, strategically positioned lakes, challenging bunkers, and greens that reward accurate approach shots.
Although the fairways offer comfortable landing areas, the combination of water hazards, elevation changes, and well-protected greens provides a rewarding challenge for golfers of varying skill levels.
The back-to-back par-5 9th and 10th holes are among Royal Kunia's most memorable challenges. Both measure more than 600 yards from the championship tees, requiring careful strategy and solid shot-making.
Originally developed in the 1990s, Royal Kunia reopened in 2003 and has become a popular destination for golfers seeking spectacular views and championship golf on Oahu.
